Outback Excavating is a family-owned, full-service Excavating company based in Canby, Oregon. The Schmidt family has owned and operated the company since 2005 with George Schmidt and worked primarily out of Central Oregon. With George’s retirement, his son Chris stepped in to take over the reins and hasn’t looked back since, although George still helps out with projects as he can.

Between the two Schmidts, there is over 50 years of excavating experience on the Outback Excavating team. From jobs large to small, the Schmidt family has the experience to guarantee that your job will be handled with a degree of professionalism and attention to detail that will please even the most finicky of customers.

Outback Excavating handles all facets of the excavating business, from wet utility to dry utility, from septic systems to driveways, clearing, and demo. The Outback Excavating team is at your disposal to make sure your jobs get done, and they get done right. Working primarily out of the Willamette Valley, Outback Excavating is based out of Canby, Oregon.
